Who can apply?
These scholarships are open to all Year 2 and Year 4 BSc, BEng, MEng or final year FdSc students enrolled in full-time education at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§.
The Scholarships
Mercer Farming Competitive Scholarship
The Mercer Charitable Foundation, supported by Mercer Farming, may award two scholarships valued at up to a maximum of £2,000.
This is a highly competitive award with applications welcomed from all students in all areas, regardless of whether they are in receipt of any other scholarship funds.
Mercer Farming Open Scholarship
The Mercer Charitable Foundation, supported by Mercer Farming, may award one scholarship valued at up to a maximum of £2,000.
This is a competitive award, with priority given to those students who have competed for other awards involving interviews at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§, however new applications are also welcome. This award will be given to a student who, at the time of interview, has not received another scholarship administered by the Development Trust in the academic year 2025/26 (excludes any final year funding awards from placement).
The award will be payable in two equal parts; half to be paid in March 2026 and the balance in May 2026.
These are competitive awards and will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, along with academic achievements to date and interview.
