Open to students from Ireland who plan on undertaking a placement (or part of the placement) overseas and in the poultry industry, or closely associated with the poultry industry e.g. in a veterinary practice with poultry clientele.

Where the course studied does not have an industry placement element then the PIET trustees will consider an application to undertake an equivalent placement abroad immediately upon graduating and before permanent employment is undertaken.

• The scholarship will fund travel to any country or countries, other than GB or Ireland
• The Scholarship is payable against receipted, pre-approved costs.  See full details in downloads.

How to apply

• Provide a covering letter outlining the details of your planned placement abroad
• An up-to date CV
• A completed copy of the signed consent form
